To follow the gorgeously sunny and warm weekend we had, the past two days have been overcast, cold, and rainy. VERY out of character for SoCal in May. I thought April showers were supposed to bring May flowers? All I want to do is go home and snuggle up on the couch with Izzie pup, and/or my husband, light a fire, read, and eat tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. That is my all time favorite rainy day meal.
Speaking of reading, I've been compiling a summer book list for myself, just like my teachers used to do in elementary school (which I never read, but now I will!). I would love your suggestions on what to add to it. I was never much of a reader until recently so I have a lot of catching up to do. What are your all time favorite books? Have you read one recently that pulled you in and you couldn't put down? Please share!

  1. I love the author Wally Lamb. He wrote "She's come undone" and "I know this much is true" both fantastic books!

  2. Tweak, Running with Scissors, The Dirt, Angela's Ashes..... If you don't want dark/demeted/psychological/drug addict books then The Queen of Babble books are super fun and easy summer reads.

This makes me want to get new books!!
