I got home late tonight from a long ballet class to find an intriguing package from Germany in my mailbox. Even though I was terribly hungry and still had to make me and the hubby dinner, I was too excited to just let the package sit there. I quickly tore it open to find the perfect hat! It was from Corinne (TricotinTicota on Ravelry) for a secret hat swap! I love it! Love the style, knit pattern, fiber, color, fit, everything! So dinner had to wait as I tried it on, danced around and took pictures in it. Also in the package was a kinder chocolate egg (already gone!), and a skein of pretty blue and brown Regia sock yarn.
Wow, the hat looks great!!! I am surprised the Kinder egg made it all the way to you. I told my mom not to send any as they are prohibited here... i didn't want to take the risk of having them open the package and take everything out of there. This happened to a friend of mine.
They are prohibited because of the little toys inside (kids could swallow them... I guess). We also watched House last night. It was an awesome season premier. So much different than the regular episodes though. Tonight it's time for Hell's Kitchen! Yippee!
